We have stayed here twice in the past 2 months and plan on staying there next month. The rooms are super clean and done in a funky, classy way, the staff are super nice and friendly and it has a pretty darn good restaurant downstairs, called the Downtowner. The downtown area is up and coming, and one place I like to be. But I'm excited that El Paso is trying to update it's facade. I will most likely go for a drink or two in the bar and see how the total experience is met before I choose to stay again. Not sure if I will stay again in the near future. And I expressed my sign frustration and he assured me that they were still updating and learning. We shared an elevator ride with Micah and he welcomed us and asked about our stay. She was warm and bubbly and seemed very nice. Jacqueline was manning the desk at check in. When the guide says odd number floors, but they are really on the even. Being able to answer all questions such as which floor the ice machines are on. Welcoming and anticipating the guest's needs. I was hoping for a more overall hospitality Experience. It is rather convenient to pick up the phone in your room to call the front desk.
It was easier to call from our personal cell phone. Using the phone in the room to call the front desk was all but impossible. As this is not an average lobby placement. Such as the fact that the lobby is on floor 5. I would have appreciated more signs and directives. The experience from there became a bit more frustrating. Lina took care of me and my parking needs quite well. I must say I did miss having a refrigerator in the room. I loved the barn tract style sliding door for the bathroom as well. Indigo is putting itself in the Epicenter of the new scene. And our downtown area is still developing and becoming something for the El Paso nightlife. Last night was my first time at this location. We live in town but when we want to have a night out, we choose to stay in a room downtown rather than drive.
